Jon-O is a Pierre Part native living in Baton Rouge.  He works as the Program Director  at  the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Baton Rouge.  He has been interested in music his whole life, and his earliest influences were his dad, Larry (drums), and his "parrain," Ricky (guitar, keys, fiddle).  He was also heavily influenced by local bands "Stage Attraction" and "Whiskey River."  Jon-O is the lead vocalist for Water's Edge, but also plays the saxophone.  He uses a Shure Beta58a for vocals and an audio-technica pro35x  wireless horn mic.  He plays a Vito alto sax and a Cannonball big bell tenor sax, both with Bari mouthpieces and Vandoren Java reeds.  On the side, Jon-O is learning how to play the guitar.  He plays a Fender Stratocaster and an Epiphone Les Paul.  Jon-O uses Fender amplification, and GHS Boomers strings.

    Toby is a Napoleonville native, now living in Bayou L'Ourse.  He works as a private security officer in the Houma/Thibodaux area.  He joined the band in 2004, adding a distinct personality to the band.  He is the primary representative of the band for bookings.  He performs as a vocalist and trombone player with Water's Edge.  He is influenced by funk, soul, and swamp pop music.  Toby plays both valve and slide trombones.  He uses Shure mics for vocals and instruments.

      Kyle is from Stephensville, but lives in Baton Rouge.  Kyle is a graduate of the LSU College of Engineering.  He  is one of the original guys who put "Apartment C" together, which later evolved into Water's Edge.  He is interested in all types of music, and is heavily influenced by Mike McCready of Pearl Jam and country artists Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.  He plays lead and rhythm parts, and also has some backup vocal parts.  Kyle gives special thanks to Stan Campbell.  Kyle plays a Gibson SG special,  and  a  1981 Fender Telecaster, with Peavy amplification.

    Brett is from Pierre Part and is attending LSU in Baton Rouge.  He is also an original member of the band.  He plays opposite Kyle on rhythm or lead guitar.  His musical influences are Ricky G, Martin Sevin, and Don Rich.  Brett plays a Fender Stratocaster with a Fender Twin reverb amp.

    B.G. is also from Pierre Part, and an original member of the band.  He enjoys all types of music, and is most influenced by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Victor Wooten, Ricky Guillot, Frank Guillot, and Mike Landry, SR.  B.G. plays a Gretsch 5-string bass with a Peavey Pro500 head and Peavey Pro410 cabinet.

    Fab Freddy is a Stephensville native.  He joined the band with Toby in 2004, turning "Apartment C" into Water's Edge.  He has been playing music off and on for approximately 38 years.  He credits Chuck Mangione, the band Chicago, Herb Alpert, Miles Davis, Wynton Marsalis, Dizzy Gillespie, Chick Choria, and Gato Barbieri as musical influences.  Fred is a former member of the old "Tri-City Civic Band" in Morgan City, which played Top 40 hits, and later  jammed with several guys from the area, playing top 40 as well.  Fred also played with a band called “Renaissance” featuring Gordon Aloisio (now with the local band “Da Ja Vue”), Paul and Morris Coates and others.  Fred plays a “K” modified Selmer  trumpet and a Benge “F6” flugelhorn each with a Shilkie A-14A mouthpiece.

    Rockin' Randall J. Fryou comes to Water's Edge from his home town of Bayou L'Ourse .  He has been performing on the Louisiana music scene for almost twenty years with such bands as Lagniappe, Souled Out, Warren Storm, and many more. He was also heavily influenced by Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, C.C.R., Don Rich, and others both locally and world wide.   Randall is the newest member of Water's Edge playing a KORG TRITON LE keyboard and adding harmony and lead vocals thru a SHURE 57 OLD SCHOOL STICK MIC. "Water's Edge is my latest adventure and damn I'm having a blast!"

   Nate Falgoust joins The Water's Edge Band from Paincourtville, LA.  Our newest member lays down that pulse-pounding beat on the drums.  He has been playing for seventeen years and has been on the music scene since he was fifteen years old.  He is currently playing on a Gretsch six-piece Catalina Birch set with a Zildjian Fast Crash and Sabian Pro B8 cymbals.  He also does a bit of singing lead (girl to be with you), as well as backup vocals.  His musical influences are David Garibaldi (Tower of Power) and Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band).  Nate owes a great deal to his grandfather, Preston Falgoust, who set up his first experience playing with a live band.  He is really excited about playing with The Water's Edge Band!!!!!!!!  The road ahead loods great, and he can't wait to see where it goes!
